Secure Socket Layer (SSL)

A interface to the OpenSSL library is provided to support the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) which may be used to build secure internet services and is used by the integrated HTTP library to support secure web services. The OpenSSL library is generally included with the operating environment and is not distributed with the Scieneer Common Lisp due to possible export restrictions and the strength of security is entirely dependant on the external OpenSSL library.
